Communication for biotechnology that transforms health
The Complementary Plan for Biotechnology Applied to Health (PCBAS) is a strategic research and development initiative funded by the European Union through the Next Generation EU programme. In Galicia, the plan is structured around a network of agents from the Galician R&D&I system, coordinated by the Kaertor Foundation, and is aimed at strengthening capabilities in health biotechnology while consolidating a collaborative ecosystem that connects science, innovation, and the productive sector. Its impact extends nationwide, bringing together multiple autonomous communities under a framework of co-governance and co-programming.
From ingenyus*, we have been actively involved in the comprehensive management of marketing and communication for the Galician initiative, defining its strategy, identity, and visibility tools.

Marketing and communication strategy
Ingenyus* works closely with the PCBAS Galicia communication team, led by the Kaertor Foundation, on the design and implementation of a cross-cutting communication strategy for the entire plan. We have been involved from the outset through in-person and virtual meetings with the project’s key stakeholders, defining the strategic messages and the tools required for dissemination. Our work has focused on launching actions to promote both the initiative as a whole and the call for expressions of interest, contributing to the design of a communication roadmap that supports and structures all activities.
Visual identity and corporate design
We developed the corporate visual identity of PCBAS Galicia based on the graphic guidelines of the national plan, creating a distinctive identity that combines institutional coherence with a strong territorial character. We produced a visual identity manual defining key elements such as the logo, colour palette, typography, and brand coexistence rules. This identity is applied consistently across presentations, documents, calls for proposals, and visual materials. We also designed layout templates for scientific reports and regulatory guidelines, ensuring the proper integration of the logos of participating and funding entities.

Website development and maintenance
We designed and developed the digital platform, conceived as the central hub of the plan in Galicia. The website was structured according to usability and SEO best practices, featuring a responsive design, bespoke graphic resources, and a scalable architecture. We implemented key functionalities such as customised forms for proposal submissions, as well as dedicated sections for news, projects, and events. We also provide ongoing technical maintenance and continuous website updates, including the addition of new content, specific sections, and structural improvements aligned with the evolution of the project.
