Technology companies and DeepTech often identify other researchers as their potential customers or buyer personas. However, the communication channels we use in our daily lives may not be the most suitable option for reaching this type of audience:

  1. In Google, even with an optimal number of keywords, it’s not possible to perform such detailed segmentation.
  2. On LinkedIn, despite being a professional social network with over 675 million users worldwide, there are more company pages related to research than active profiles of research personnel.
  3. On Twitter, you may find a high percentage of researchers in almost all fields. However, the Twitter Ads platform also does not allow for optimal ad targeting.

But hey, there is light at the end of the tunnel. That’s why today we want to talk about social networks for researchers, specific channels for reaching your potential customers directly and in a targeted manner.
